GARO summarizes 2023
Product innovations, GARO Entity, new facilities, and initiatives towards greener electrification are some of the highlights as we now conclude 2023 and step into 2024.
It's time to look back on the past year, both for GARO and for the industry as a whole. The year has been marked by a series of product launches for both the GARO Electrification and GARO E-mobility product areas. These include the new fast charger RAPID 120/180 kW, the charging station LS4 43 kW, the temporary electric vehicle charger GARO Entity Flex, and the flexible engine heater outlet GARO Entity Heat. These investments further expand the product portfolio and continue to promote synergies between GARO's two different product areas.
GARO Entity Pro has been third-party certified, ensuring that end-users, customers, and installers can feel confident that the product delivers on its promises. The GARO Entity Compact charging station for use in homes and vacation homes has been launched for delivery. This means that all products within the GARO Entity product line are now launched and available on the market. GARO now offers the safest electric vehicle charging on the market, regardless of the environment. Two of GARO's public charging stations were also approved according to the Eichrecht standard and are available for sale in the German market for public charging. This is particularly significant considering that GARO established a new subsidiary in Germany during the year, focusing on E-mobility.
Outside GARO's walls, events have also occurred that promote electrification and the green transition. The benefit taxation of employees charging their electric cars at the workplace was abolished, the investment in Climate Leap was strengthened by over 4 billion SEK until 2026, and the Green Technology tax reduction has continued as in previous years.
A major event during the year was also Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson's visit to GARO in Gnosjö in March. Discussions included the green transition and the development of a smart and future-proof charging infrastructure. Investments in both GARO product areas have also been reflected through the relocation in Sweden and the new production and logistics facility in Poland. Changes that create opportunities for a more efficient and consolidated GARO.
A truly eventful year has come to an end, and we are strengthened by the ambition to deliver at an even higher level in 2024. Join us towards new opportunities!
