GARO awarded Grand Aluminium Prize

GARO is proud to have been awarded the Grand Aluminium Prize. Every year, the Swedish aluminium industry organisation Svenskt Aluminium awards a prize to an organisation or individual whose efforts have benefited developments within aluminium over the past ten years.

Due to the pandemic, the 2019 award ceremony was postponed, finally taking place on 16 September 2021. The areas that the jury from Svenskt Aluminium’s board assesses when awarding the prize include design, entrepreneurship and the environment. GARO’s ambition is to use the greenest possible materials at all times, with our use of recyclable aluminium with a long and durable service life comprising an important cornerstone of our sustainability work. As a result, we are greatly honoured to be recognised for our use of aluminium in terms of design, safety and sustainability.
